I have a fascination for subcultures. Furries are a creative subculture of people who have an interest in animals with anthropomorphic characteristics, meaning human qualities. They may express this interest through dress up in a costume called a ‘fursuit’. I made portraits of furries in their own interior. The purpose of this project is to create more publicity and understanding for this relatively unknown subculture.
